Kore
Real name Djamel Fezari, DJ Kore was born in Paris of Algerian parents. He got
his start in underground culture in the late 1990s. He met Skalp in 1997 and
began working with him as a duo, producing numerous mixtapes for artists such as
Eloquence, Costello and Screen Connexion. Four years later, Kore & Skalp signed
to Sony Music and worked with rappers such as Booba and Rohff. It was with the
latter's album, La Vie Avant la Mort, that they enjoyed their first real
success, which led to them producing the soundtrack for the film Taxi 3. They
