Kenny Roby
Kenny Roby is an American singer-songwriter based in North Carolina. He formed 6
String Drag with bassist Rob Keller in the early 1990s, with their music
blending old-style country with elements of soul, gospel, and rock. After 6
String Drag disbanded in the late 1990s, Roby continued his solo career. He
released several albums including Mercury's Blues (2000), Rather Not Know
(2003), The Mercy Filter (2006), and Memories & Birds (2013). In 2015, Roby
reunited with the original members of 6 String Drag to release Roots Rock 'N'
Roll (2015). In 2022, he released Kenny Roby (2022).
