Kelly Willis
Kelly Diane Willis, born on October 2, 1968, in Lawton, Oklahoma, is an American
country music singer-songwriter. Raised by her father, a U.S. Army colonel, and
influenced by her mother's love for music, Willis began singing at age nine
following her parents' divorce. She joined the rockabilly band Kelly Willis &
the Fireballs in high school. In 1989, she signed with MCA Records after
impressing producer Tony Brown. Her debut album Well Travelled Love was released
in 1990 and featured songs like "Little Honey" and "I Don't Want to Love You
