Kavinsky
Real name Vincent Belorgey, DJ Kavinsky was born on July 31, 1975 in
Seine-Saint-Denis, France. After self-taught piano lessons as a child, he became
interested in electronic music while doing his military service. In the 2000s,
he released a number of EPs, including Teddy Boy in 2006, 1986 in 2007 and
Blazer in 2008. After opening for Daft Punk in the late 2000s, a duo to whom he
is often compared, he gained recognition when his track "Nightcall " (also
released via the EP of the same name in 2010) appeared on the soundtrack of the
film Drive in 2011, giving him unexpected expos...
