Kalafina
Kalafina is a Japanese female vocal trio, born in 2007 out of producer and
composer Yuki Kajiura's need for performers for the animated film series Kara no
Kyökai. Kalafina's debut album Seventh Earth, released in 2009, proved a big
hit, and the group took advantage of the opportunity to perform in the USA for
the first time. Kalafina's success continues to grow with Red Moon (2010) and
After Eden (2011). The West is increasingly receptive to the Asian charms of the
three young women, who offer their fans the Kalafina box set featuring their
first three CDs in January 2013
