Jump, Little Children was an American indie rock band formed in 1991 in
Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The group initially performed Irish music before
transitioning to an alternative rock sound. In early 1995, they released The
Licorice Tea Demos, gaining local notoriety. The band signed with Breaking
Records in 1998 and released their debut album Magazine, featuring the single
"Cathedrals," which achieved nationwide radio play. In September 2001, they
released Vertigo, which reached number 44 on the Billboard Top Independent
