Judith Lefeber
Judith Lefeber was born on March 14, 1981 in Manipal, Karnataka, India, and was
adopted at the age of six months by a couple from Germany. She grew up in
Rheda-Wiedenbrück. She began singing, piano and ballet lessons at the age of
four and sang in the choir of the St. Aegidius girls' choir. As a teenager, she
won second prize in singing at the regional "Jugend musiziert" competition in
1997. After graduating from high school, she studied singing (mezzo-soprano) and
piano at the Detmold University of Music and later at the Folkwang University in
