Judith Christie McAllister, born Judith F. Christie on September 29, 1963 in
Harlem, New York, is an American gospel singer and composer. Raised by a
minister father from Jamaica and a pianist mother from Barbados, she learned to
play the piano at a young age. In the mid-1980s, McAllister attended Oral
Roberts University.
McAllister's music career began in 1992 when she became the Music Director at
West Angeles Church of God in Christ (COGIC). She released her debut album, Send
