Iyeth Bustami, born Sri Barat on 24 August 1973 in Bengkalis, Indonesia, began
performing in local cafés before relocating to Jakarta in 1990 to sign with JK
Record. Her breakthrough came with the 2003 single "Laksamana Raja di Laut",
which earned her a Best Female Dangdut Singer award that same year and cemented
