Ismail Türüt, born on June 8, 1965 in Ambarlık, Rize, Turkey, is a folk singer
known for his contributions to Turkish folkloric music. He released his debut
album Laz Uşağı in 1982, marking the beginning of his musical career. Throughout
the late 1980s and early 1990s, Türüt continued to release albums including
Komşu Kızı, Lazmısın Çerkezmisin, and Ondan Kaynana Olmaz. His album Akıllı Ol
was released in 1993. Türüt also presented various television shows and starred
in the series Naber Bacanak. In 2001, he was shot on stage and injured.
