Imperium Dekadenz
Hailing from Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, Imperium Dekadenz is a black metal
band formed by guitar players Pascal "Vespasian" Vannier and Christian "Horaz"
Jakob in 2004. The two bandmates introduced their aggressive, atmospheric, and
guitar-driven sound with the independently-released EP Promo 2005. Recorded in
2005 and sent to various labels, Promo 2005 helped earn Imperium Dekadenz a
two-album deal with the German label Perverted Taste. One year later, the band
made its label debut with …und die Welt ward kalt und leer, followed one year
later by the sophomore record Dämme...
