I Nuovi Angeli, formed in Milan in 1966, emerged from the merger of the pop duo
Paki & Paki and an instrumental trio from Alessandria, bringing together
Pasquale Canzi, Pasquale Andriola, Alberto Pasetti, Renato Sabbioni, and Franco
Verde. Their breakthrough came with the single "L'ora più lunga" (1966), adopted
as the opening theme for the RAI television show La fiera dei sogni. After early
personnel changes, the group signed with Polygram and shifted toward bubblegum
