Born on 3 December 1982 in Gumi, North Gyeongsang, South Korean singing
sensation Hwang Chi Yeul (Korean: 황치열; Hanja: 黃致列) moved to Seoul in 2004 and
began his musical journey three years later, introducing his voice on the 2007
single album Chi Yeul and studio debut Five Senses (오감) as well landing several
TV appearances. However, his career was subsequently derailed due to the closure
of his management company and he retreated from the public eye for several
years. He re-emerged with the "A Man From Gyeongsang-do" (경상도남자) single in 2014
