Alynda Mariposa Segarra, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, founded the American
folk band Hurray for the Riff Raff as a solo project that grew into a full
ensemble. The group’s debut single "It Don't Mean I Don't Love You" was
self‑released in 2009, followed by Young Blood Blues in 2010. Subsequent
