House of Shem
House of Shem is a roots reggae band from New Zealand, formed by Carl Perkins
and his two sons, Te Omeka Perkins and Isaiah Perkins. Their debut album, Keep
Rising, was unveiled in May 2008 in New Zealand, with the band releasing it in
Australia and Hawaii the following year. Collaborating with Grammy-winning
engineer Errol Brown, their sophomore album Island Vibration, released on
February 14, 2011, made history as the first reggae album in New Zealand to
