A symphonic rock band inspired by fantasy, science fiction, history, and Greek
mythology, Sound Horizon formed in 2001 in Tokyo, Japan. Originally a one-man
band consisting of composer and multi-instrumentalist Revo, Sound Horizon
expanded its lineup following the release of the band's 2001 debut, Chronicle.
Female vocalist Aramary joined the group in time for 2002's Thanatos, with male
vocalist Jimang climbing aboard that same year for the follow-up album Lost.
