Frank Jorge Lopes Jr., known professionally as Hobo Johnson, is an American
rapper from California. At 15, Lopes began performing music and hip-hop,
adopting his stage name while living in his car. In December 2016, he released
live recordings on YouTube subtitled "Live from Oak Park" which gained him
significant attention. In 2017, after releasing the album The Rise of Hobo
Johnson (2016), Lopes signed to Reprise Records and won four Sacramento Area
