Hipsway were a Scottish pop/new wave band formed in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1984.
The group consisted of Grahame Skinner, Pim Jones, Johnny McElhone, and Harry
Travers. Hipsway's initial breakthrough came with the release of their first two
singles, "The Broken Years" and "Ask the Lord" were followed by their third
single, "The Honeythief", which became their most successful track, reaching
number 17 on the UK Singles Chart in 1985. This success propelled their
