HEY-SMITH
HEY‑SMITH formed in 2006 in Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan, by local musicians who
blended punk rock with melodic hardcore and brass. Their debut demo in July 2007
sold about 7,000 copies, establishing a fan base that expanded through over 150
live shows a year. The first mini‑album, Proud and Loud, debuted on
5 August 2009 under Caffeine Bomb Organics, followed by the full‑length
14‑Fourteen‑ on 20 January 2010 and a nationwide tour of 51 venues. Free Your
Mind (2011) topped the Oricon Indie chart, and Now Album (May 2013) entered the
