Hendrik Bruch, born on December 5, 1962, in East Berlin, Germany, was a
composer, singer, and music producer. He began his musical journey with various
student bands before enrolling at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin in
1985, where he graduated in 1989. In 1987, he won the Silver Bong award for his
songs "Was ich brauche" ("What I need") and "Bitte warte auf mich" ("Please
