Harriette Pilbeam, known professionally as Hatchie, was born on May 4, 1993, in
Brisbane, Queensland. She is an Australian singer-songwriter who began her
musical journey as a child and later learned guitar, bass, piano, and clarinet.
Pilbeam started her career with the band Babaganouj in 2011, before joining Go
Violets, releasing two EPs before their disbandment in 2014. Hatchie made her
solo debut with the single "Try" in May 2017, gaining significant attention in
