Habib Belk
Habib Belkziz, born November 9, 1989, in Marrakech, Morocco, is a gnawa singer
known for blending traditional Gnawa music with contemporary genres. He began
singing at eight and made his first public appearances at family weddings. His
uncle, Maàllam Abdelkbir Merchan, introduced him to Gnawa spiritual music and
gifted him his first Guimbri. Habib Belkziz moved to Germany in 2005. Years
after, he eventually released his debut album Sidi Kmmy. He gained attention
