Jay Wesley Watson, born 27 May 1990 in Western Australia, is an Australian
multi‑instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer also known as GUM. He
first released the digital single "Anaesthetized Lesson" in 2015, followed by
his debut album Delorean Highway in 2014, a collection of “paranoid pop” tracks
recorded in 2011. Jay Watson continued with Glamorous Damage (2015), Flash in
the Pan (2016), The Underdog (2018), Out in the World (2020), Saturnia (2023)
