Chinese pop singer and songwriter Guan Zhe, also known as Grady Guan, was born
on April 23, 1981, in Jilin City, Jilin, China. Coming from a working-class
family, Guan Zhe developed a passion for music at a young age. Although he
initially pursued different goals, he eventually decided to pursue a music
career after getting a computer programming degree from Yanshan University in
2002. After a surge of talent shows emerged in China in 2005, Guan Zhe
