Welsh rock band, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, was formed in Carmarthen, Wales, in 1991
by Euros Childs, John Lawrence, and Richard James. The group initially included
Sion Lane and Steffan Cravos, who left after recording their first cassette,
Allumette. Megan Childs joined the band, and they signed with Ankst Records,
releasing their debut album Patio in 1992. This collection featured live and
