Gleis 8
Gleis 8 is a German pop band founded in 2012 by the former Rosenstolz singer
Andrea Natalie Neuenhofen, known as AnNa R.. In addition to AnNa R., the band
originally included saxophonist Lorenz Allacher, drummer Manne Uhlig and
producer Timo Dorsch. The band's name refers to the frequent commute between
Hamburg and Berlin, with the ICE train to Hamburg departing from platform 8 at
Berlin Central Station. In May 2013, the group released their debut single "Wer
ich bin", which reached number 70 in the German charts. The subsequent album
