Glassjaw, formed in 1993 in Hempstead, New York, is an American post‑hardcore
group fronted by vocalist Daryl Palumbo. The band began as a local hardcore act,
releasing the independent EP Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 1997 before signing with
Roadrunner Records. Their debut studio album, Everything You Ever Wanted to Know
About Silence, was issued on 9 May 2000 and established their aggressive yet
