Glass Hammer, a progressive rock band from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was founded
in 1992 by Steve Babb and Fred Schendel. Their debut album, Journey of the
Dunadan, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, was released in 1993
and sold several thousand units, encouraging them to continue. The band's lineup
evolved over the years, including notable vocalists such as Michelle Young and
