Giovanny Ayala
Giovanny Enrique Murcia Ayala was born on May 2, 1976, in Granada, Meta, and
raised in Villavicencio, where, at just five years old, he began singing in his
family’s courtyard inspired by Reynaldo Armas. He released his debut album El
Catire Norteño in 2005, followed by Así es que se canta (2008), which included
the breakthrough hit “De Rodillas Te Pido,” propelling him to national fame with
its emotional depth and heartfelt performance. In 2009, he released El que se
enamora pierde, continuing to expand his reach across Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador
and beyond. The 2011 album Sencil...
