Giovanni Guidi

Born February 6, 1985 in Foligno, Italy, Giovanni Guidi is a jazz pianist and bandleader who is also known for his work alongside trumpeter Enrico Rava. He is considered to be one of the most talented and original players on the European jazz scene. At a young age, Guidi began studying piano. After studying with Ramberto Ciammarughi throughout his schooling and inter conservatory, he was discovered by Rava, who asked him to join one of his ‘Under 21’ groups.
