Gene Thomas
Gene Thomas (born on August 22, 1972) is one of the most prominent artists in
the Belgian music scene. After releasing the album Always on the run with pop
rock outfit Ship of Dreams in 1993, he then joined Gina Blondeel to form the
dance music duo X-Session. The group was together for a total of 7 years,
releasing a string of hit songs such as “Say Yeah,” “On and On,” and “Baby It’s
You.” In 2003, he made the decision to start singing exclusively in Dutch. His
first single was “Voor haar,” a song dedicated to his wife Kristel Verbeke from
