Real name Fredrick Jamel Tipton, American rapper Freddie Gibbs was born on June 14, 1982 in Gary, Indiana. In 2004, he made a name for himself by releasing back-to-back mixtapes under the name Full Metal Jackit: The Mixtape (volumes 1 and 2).
