Singer, songwriter, and musician Félix Dyotte was born in Montreal, Quebec,
Canada on April 4, 1981. He is best known for winning the SOCAN Song Prize in
2020 for writing actress and singer Evelyne Brochu’s “Maintenant ou jamais.” His
musical career began at the age of 15 when he first started playing in different
bands. His first serious group, The Undercovers, broke up and some of the
members formed The Stills while Fèlix Dyotte formed a new group, Chinatown, in
