Fast Crew was a New Zealand hip hop group formed in Auckland in 1999. The group
consisted of Dane Rumble (aka Kid Deft), Jeremy Kent-Johnston (aka Jerome
Fortune), Brad Devcich (aka Diablo), Gemma Copas and Josh Thorne (DJ Alias).
Their first single "Mr Radio" was released in 2002, gaining significant airplay.
In May 2003, Fast Crew released the single "I Got", which spent twenty-three
weeks on the New Zealand Top 40 Singles Chart and achieved gold status. This
success led to opening acts for international artists such as Busta Rhymes and
