Born Wu Wenfang in Fengshan, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan on March 23, 1990, Fang Wu
is a Mandopop singer and songwriter signed to Linfair Records. She first came to
prominence as one half of Taiwanese pop duo BabyFace in 2006. The duo became
contestants on the second series of televised talent competition Super Idol in
2008 and came in fifth place. In 2009, the duo split when her musical partner
