Evergrey
Evergrey is a progressive metal band from Sweden founded in 1993. After the
first demo recordings following its formation, it took until 1998 before the
debut album The Dark Discovery was released. Musically, the band is oriented
towards role models such as Dream Theater or Tad Morose. However, the overall
mood of the music is sombre. This is why Evergrey later chose the term Melodic
Dark Power Metal. The album In Search for Truth was the band's first chart entry
