Erick Eerdhuijzen, born 20 September 1962 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a Dutch
DJ who began his career as a hip‑hop DJ at the Prinsenhof club in Zaandam before
winning the Dutch mix‑scratch championship in 1989. He transitioned to house
music and secured a residency at RoXY in Amsterdam in 1995, where he formed a
duo with Olav Basoski that produced the club hit "Don't Turn Your Back" in the
mid‑1990s. In 1997 they launched the Work label, and Erick Eerdhuijzen gained
