Erdmöbel is a German indie‑pop and jazz group formed in Münster and based in
Cologne, led by vocalist, songwriter and writer Markus Berges,
multi‑instrumentalist and producer Ekimas, keyboardist Wolfgang Proppe, and
drummer Christian Wübben. The band emerged in 1994 and released its debut album
Das Ende der Diät in 1996, followed by Erste Worte nach Bad mit Delfinen in
1999, which incorporated electronic elements. In 2000 the duo Ekimas and the
group issued the electronic Erdmöbel versus Ekimas, featuring the first
