Empty Trash was formed in Berlin in November 2005 by Max Buskohl and Per Blut,
joined later by Stefan Kull and Julius Murke, and was a four‑member German rock
band. Their breakthrough came in 2007 when Buskohl participated in Deutschland
sucht den Superstar, after which the band signed with EMI and released the debut
single "Limited" on 19 October 2007, entering the German charts. Their first
album Confession was released on 23 November 2007, produced by Patrik Berger and
Carl Carlton. The single "Garden of Growing Hearts" (14 March 2008) served as
