El Potro de Sinaloa
José Eulogio Hernández, known by his stage name El Potro de Sinaloa, is a
Mexican singer who performs in the Banda and Pacific Norteño genres. Born in
Culiacán, Sinaloa, on November 17, 1977, he was strongly influenced by his
brothers Ignacio and Tomas, both successful musicians in Mexico. His performance
career started in the early 1990s, and he soon established a reputation in the
performance circuit. Adopting the stage name El Potro de Sinaloa ("The Colt of
Sinaloa"), he quickly gained regional fame for his unique voice and romantic
