Einherjer
Einherjer, a Norwegian folk metal band from Haugesund, Rogaland, was formed in
1993 by Frode Glesnes and Gerhard Storesund. The group initially featured Rune
Bjelland on vocals and Jarle Kvåle on bass. Their early releases included the
demo “Aurora Borealis” (1993) and the EP “Leve Vikingånden” (1995). In 1996,
Einherjer released their debut album “Dragons of the North,” followed by “Odin
Owns Ye All” in 1998. The band disbanded in 2004 but reunited in 2008 for live
