DYGL
DYGL (pronounced as Day-Glo) is an indie rock band from Tokyo, Japan. The group
was formed in 2013 by vocalist and guitarist Nobuki Akiyama, drummer Kohei
Kamoto, guitarist Yosuke Shimonaka, and bassist Yotaro Kachi. Akiyama, Kachi,
and Kamoto also used to play in the indie rock band Ykiki Beat until its demise
in 2017. Shortly after forming, the band traveled to the United States to record
their first EP, EP #1 (2015), followed by a second EP titled Don't Know Where It
Is, released in 2016 via HardEnough. Produced by The Strokes’ Albert Hammond
