Dredg is an American rock group formed in Los Gatos, California, in 1993,
comprising vocalist Gavin Hayes, guitarist Mark Engles, bassist Drew Roulette
and drummer Dino Campanella. The quartet began performing locally in the
mid‑1990s, releasing the independent EP Conscious in 1996 and Orph in 1997,
which showcased a rap‑core and nu‑metal sound that would later evolve. Their
