Dramagods
DramaGods, an American rock band, was formed in 2002 by Nuno Bettencourt. The
group originated from a solo project by Bettencourt, who released Population 1
under his own name in late 2001 in Japan and later in 2002 worldwide. To support
the album, he assembled a touring band featuring Joe Pessia on rhythm guitar,
Steve Ferlazzo on keyboards and backing vocals, Philip Bynoe on bass, and Kevin
Figueiredo on drums. After legal issues, the band changed its name to DramaGods
in 2005 and released their debut album Love. The group toured extensively,
