Double
Double, originally known as Ping Pong, is a Swiss music duo formed in 1983 in
Zürich by Kurt Maloo on guitar and vocals, and Felix Haug on drums and
keyboards. Before forming Double, Maloo had been involved with various musical
projects since the early 1970s, including the experimental band Troppo. In 1983,
Maloo and Haug decided to form Double. Their first release was the EP Nanningo
(1983), followed by the singles "Rangoon Moon" and "Woman of the World" in 1984.
