Doom are a hardcore rock band from Birmingham whose line-up has fluctuated many
times since they formed in 1987. They grew out of a band named The Subverters
with singer Jon Pickering on bass, Bri Doom on guitar and Jason Hodges on drums.
When Hodges left to be succeeded by Mick Harris, they began to perform under the
Doom name.
They began to tour the UK and in 1988 released their debut album 'War Crimes
(Inhuman Beings)'. 'Bury the Debt - Not the Dead' followed in 1989 but Pickering
departed and Bri Doom left for a while until they joined up again in 1992 for a
tour of Japa...
