Dodo & the Dodos
Led by frontwoman Dodo Gad, Dodo and the Dodos are one of the best-selling
Danish bands in history. The group was formed in 1986 by Gad, Jens Rud, Steen
Christiansen, Lars Thorup, and Anders Valbro. Before releasing any original
material as a band, three members of the Dodos' lineup — Gad, Rud, and
Christiansen — appeared on the hit single "Re-Sepp-Ten," which appeared in 1986
to commemorate the Danish football team's participation in the FIFA World Cup.
The song became a Top 5 hit in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and its success was
followed by Dodo and the Gads' self-titled debu...
