Dismember
Dismember's brutal, booming form of death metal earned the Swedish group an
international audience during the 1990s and 2000s, when albums like Like an Ever
Flowing Stream and Indecent & Obscene charted in both Germany and Poland. The
group launched in 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden, with drummer Fred Estby, lead
guitarist David Blomqvist, rhythm guitarist Robert Sennebäck, and bassist Erik
Gustafsson forming the original lineup. Richard Cabeza replaced Gustafsson in
1990, with vocalist Matti Kärki joining the roster in time for Dismember's 1991
