Diogo Piçarra (October 19, 1990) is a Portuguese pop singer from Faro. During
his teenage years, he was a part of the band Fora da Bóia and then studied
abroad in the Czech Republic for a semester. Upon his return to Portugal, he
became a contestant on the music reality show Ídolos, where he was quickly
eliminated. Diogo Piçarra then participated in the music TV contest Operação
Triunfo but didn’t make it past the first round. His perseverance paid off,
though, and he went on to the fifth season of Ídolos in 2012. Espelho, Diogo
