Debauchery
Formed in Stuttgart, Germany in 2000, Debauchery is a death metal group founded
by vocalist and guitarist Thomas Gurrath. While the group’s line-up has changed
throughout the years, Thomas Gurrath has remained at the helm for over two
decades. In a unique twist, the guitarist and singer also fronts two other bands
that offer different musical approaches to the heavy metal genre: Blood God
(hard rock/heavy metal) and Balgeroth (German metal). All three bands are
promoted – by Gurrath – as the ‘trinity of blood gods.’ Originally known as
